Nel lavoro di Tranz Lasagne si avverte l influenza della scena techno europea, ma l impatto viene ammorbidito dall intreccio di altri generi di elettronica, dalla drum n bass al breakbeat. Su un tappeto di battiti crudi e minimalisti si appoggiano sperimentazioni e mixaggi audaci, che rivelano un grande talento e ci costringono a ballare. D altra parte, Digital Genetic Pasta tende a rallentare i ritmi, inventando qualcosa di assolutamente nuovo che riesce a far convivere techno e hip hop pur non assomigliando a nessuno dei due generi. Da non perdere la grafica del cd, anch essa frutto della vivace fucina creativa di Biokip e realizzata con le illustrazioni di Cruz, AAAlice, Pat-H e Ufocinque. ENG Italian indie Biokip Records teams up with IRMA and gives birth to the debut album by two young and talented electronic producers: Tranz Lasagne and Digital Genetic Pasta. Tranz Lasagne are heavily influenced by the European Techno scene, but in their sound one can clearly catch the flavour of other electronic music styles, like drumnbass and breakbeat. The grooves are raw and minimal, the production audaciously experimental, proving the guys talent and forcing the listener to dance. On the other hand, Digital Genetic Pasta likes to slow down the beats and creates something totally innovative managing to blend Techno and Hip Hop together, still sounding different from both. The CD artwork is care of the Biokip stable, combining the skills of three fresh Italian artists: Cruz, AAAlice, Pat-H and Ufocinque. |
