Aaron Tesser, nato a Treviso, inizia negli anni 90 a studiare musica jazz con importanti musicisti italiani come Stefano Battaglia, Claudio Fasoli e Maurizio Caldura. Con il cambio del millennio comincia ad avvicinarsi al mondo del club e forma un gruppo ( Loungerie) di genere JazzLounge e collabora con diversi DJ della scenda Dance House veneta. Gianluca Viani, Dj e produttore veneto, oltre a suonare cone DJ nei piu importanti locali italiani e stato uno dei produttori del gruppo dance Living Joy, ai vertici delle classifiche inglesi con diversi singoli negli anni 90. Il progetto si avvale per lo piu della voce del cantante Fabrizio Rispoli, anche lui di origine veneta e professionista dagli anni 90, in cui ha partecipato ad importanti trasmissioni televisive come Quelli che il Calcio, San Remo e Telethon nella veste di corista stabile. Molte delle composizioni dei brani si devono a Lino Brotto, chitarrista jazz che ha suonato, oltre che ad Umbria Jazz e a vari festival italiani, anche negli USA e in tutta Europa e che e considerato tra i migliori chitarristi jazz italiani. Alla voce si alterna a Fabrizio Rispoli la cantante olandese Elisabeth Geel. Gli altri musicisti del disco sono : Marco Carlesso alla batteria, Nicola Dal Bo al piano, Beppe Pilotto al contrabbasso, Gianluca Carollo e Maurizio Scomparin alla tromba, Piergiorgio Caverzan al sax alto e clarinetto basso, Marco Catinaccio alle percussioni. L album si presenta come una eccellente raccolta di brani originali in stile Nu Jazz con brani di grande presa melodica come Everlasting Rose, Stella, You, me and jazz e con una cover del brano Feel di Robbie Williams. ENG Aaron Tesser & The New Jazz Affair is a project founded by Aaron Tesser and producer Gianluca Viani. Aaron Tesser has studied jazz with prominent Italian musicians like Stefano Battaglia, Claudio Fasoli and Maurizio Caldura. At the turn of the century he got more involved with the club scene and founded the band Loungerie, working at the same time with various House DJs. Gianluca Viani, DJ producer responsible among other things for dance act Living Joy, which topped the UK charts several times in the 90s. The other members of Aaron Tesser & The New Jazz Affair are singers Fabrizio Rispoli and Elisabeth Geel, guitarist Lino Brotto, who also writes most of the tune, Marco Carlesso on drums, Nicola Dal Bo on piano, Beppe Pilotto on double bass, Gianluca Carollo and Maurizio Scomparin on trumpet, Piergiorgio Caverzan on alto sax and bass clarinet, Marco Catinaccio on percussion. Their debut album is a collection of great Nu Jazz songs, some with very strong melodies like Everlasting Rose, Stella or You Me And Jazz. Also included the cover of Feel, made popular by Robbie Williams. |
