Anybody that says "Jokenfold sucks" would think just the opposite after hearing this record. Absolutely classic slab of trancey housey techno. This record alone makes up for every mistake Oakenfold has ever made. A superficial listen might make one think of this as just another in a long string of uninteresting club tracks, but a closer look reveals a very well produced, exceptionally lush soundscape that works just as well at home as it does in the club. Its tracks like these that made Oakenfold famous, and its really a shame he's wasting his tallent (if he has any left).djpat, Jan 2004 |
