We were at the end of the line with this release. After selling 125,000 12" singles with Musto & Bones first U.S. release "Dangerous On The Dancefloor" on RCA which featured People Can Party, they got a solo deal. My working relationship with Tommy Musto was exhausted as was my working relationship with my Mangagement. And my grand exit came with the "Hardcore Brooklyn Remix" of this track.
I used two basic parts of N-Joi and DJ Mink. I sampled ad-libs of Big Daddy Kane saying "Keep On Dancin, Keep On Dancin". This record was not meant to be but in the one mix I totally turned this mediocre at best track into the same basic structure found in "Dangerous On The Dancefloor".
Had my one mix been the original version, this record would have had made a buzz. But the original and other remixes were so horrible, this record was a complete write-off. djfrankiebones, Jun 2006
