One of those 12"s that I can't resist to shuffle into almost every oldskool mix I do. Not very well known, except on the Belgian post New Beat scene. 5 very particular trax that all have their own sound and definition, and form one of the best 12"s Per Martinsen, of R fame, did during his Brussels period. The A-side carries the oldskool Belgian 1990 motorgroove to a new level : her you got the kind of sound parties and raves drove on, trax more or less custommade for the Belgian dancefloors.
Here you exactly got the period when in Belgium trax were prepared in excess in the studio during the week and roadtested in clubs like Boccaccio in the weekend. Resulting in a kind of druggy, spacy heavy Belgian pre-ravemusic, later to become known as the Belgian hardcore sound. The b-side trax sound a bit more Norway/Detroity except for the treasure on this 12" "Intersphere": A Belgian take, by a guy from Norway, on Breakbeatscience resulting in pure xtc. New wavy bassline, funky drums and shivers all down your spine !! Search after this one !!!DocVinyl, Jan 2005
