One of the most talented young and brilliant musicians in the Italian/European scene of Tribal-House Music.
Since he was a little boy he was deeply into music, and at 6 years old he started to play the drums in the church where his father is a protestant pastor.
Jonathan started as self-made musician , but he later decided to consolidate his music studies with Gianluca Garsia ( a famous teacher in Italy) .
At the age of 17 Jonathan performed in the infamous blues & jazz club in Rome called Big Mama were all the best roman talent band showcase. JM started his career with the Rhythm & Blues but his major influences are taken from the charming pulsations of Funk, a style which reflect a significant part of his artist soul.
With the start of the year 2000, the percussions become Jonathans new challenge, and in November (2000) he makes his debut as a percussionist in the House Music scene with the collaboration of dj Massimiliano Beca resident-DJ of the well known Pasci club in Riccione (Italy).
In 2001 Jonathan teams up with the fmous Italian DJ Franko Moiraghi, who took him to play around Europe as first step was Switzerland, where he performed aat the Last Club and Love, the tour continued in several clubs of Italy.
Jonathans overwhelming creativity does not stop with the tours , in 2003 he started a new recording project called Tribal Experience in collaboration with the dj Luca Schivo and the vocalist Tanya Monies, published and distributed all across Europe by Tambour records.
This first recording project sold more than 10.000 copies, and the success was so devastating that DJ Jessy Garcia decided to produce the remix of the song, later published by the Spanish label called Tribal, which went straight to the top of the Spanish charts.
Currently Tribal Experience is a reference point of the European Tribal House music.

In 2003 JM meets Stephane Rochet, manager of artists such as Patrick King, dancer and choreographer of the famous Cirque du Soleil. Between the two something special sparkled-out and he soon becomes his manager. Stephane brings Jonathan to perform in very important events such as the parties for the Fiat Idea and the lauch of Mini Cooper.

Later Stephane ventures out in a club business experience opening in Rome the Hulal NIP Club were JM was resident twice a week in the most important nights, giving him the chance to play with some internationals djs, like the Canadian Alain Vinet, art director of the Cirque du Soleil records and many more. On the wave of his first great success Jonathan Meyer creates a group calles Union Funk, gourp formed with the djs mrs DAndrassi and DJ Luca Schivo, the trio made the second acclaimed Tribal Experience 2 ( released on 2003), remixed by Phunk Investigation.
In 2004 Union Funk published Tribal Experience 3, another success for the trio, as a matter of fact this song is played in Bob Sinclairs dj-set and, in the dub-version, is played by the dj Satoshi Tomiie.
2004 is also a good year, Jonathan has the great chance to remix a famous hit of Simple Minds: Alive and Kicking that is published and distributed by Absolutely Records.
The djs DAndrassi and Schivo leave Funk Investigation in 2005, but form the band with Jonathan Meyer. In 2005 musically he started the collaboration with Verardo and Ricci, composing with them a new song called Believe, featuring the beautiful voice of Wendy Louis, released byTambour records.

At this point Jonathan got the idea for a Chill-Out album and starts to work very hard to this brand new project, different from anything hes ever done before but back to his funk origins.
At this point Jonthan signs with New Kernel Prductions and also alongside with Maurizio Clemente KNM that look after his carrer as a manager,
with New Kernel Jonathan published his first Chill-Out album called Tribal Funk, composed of 11 songs where funk atmospheres melt with tribal sounds
Also with the vinyl label equal record will soon be published: Its time to change and Back in the day, this last one has been created with Louis Radio, resident-dj at the Goa Club of Rome (Italy), and with the charming voice of Sabrina Johnston.
